Meet Buttermilk- a 6 year old 14.2+ thick-made Gypsy x AQHA gelding. This special guy has been with us for three years and is out of a mare close to our hearts (an own daughter of Kit Dual [progeny earrings of over $4.5 million]). 

The only thing to rival Buttermilk's experiences are his possibilities!! 

Buttermilk has proven he will go anywhere and has been on overnight mountain trail and camping trips. Cows beware!- our buckskin beauty has caught countless cattle and loaded them in trailers. He's also helped us halter break more than 20 colts over the last 2 falls.  Whether you are needing a serious ranch working gelding or want to dabble in the team roping, rest assured Buttermilk is the dependable and versatile partner you want as he works both ends of the cow. What he lacks in speed, he makes up for in personality and style!

Speaking of style, Buttermilk has all the reining maneuvers and even lays down on command (cued from the ground or from the saddle)! He looks great under western tack or English and has even spent time over the past 2 winters fox hunting (all fields- Belle Meade, Shakerag Hunt, Goodwin Hounds, and Green Creek Hounds). We think he's even fancy enough for some western dressage!
 
With his puppy-dog personality, he is easily one of the most friendly horses to be around and a barn favorite. Brave, dependable, and versatile- Buttermilk is always a top pick amongst seasoned riders and not-so-seasoned guests. Our boys have spent countless hours enjoying this incredible guy and now we are excited to watch him make another person or family equally as happy!
