Meet Viking! Viking is a handsome red roan gelding with a beautiful, shiny mane and tail. Viking has been with us for 2 years and has been a pleasure to train. He has done an excellent job in the arena, trotting and loping circles, picking up leads correctly, jumping and side passing. Outside he enjoys leisurely rides around the farm, trail riding, or going into town. He is traffic safe and handles new sights and sounds with confidence. Viking has also been used for some ranch roping including competitions and recently helped us bring home a check. He is a sweet boy in the barn and easy to catch in the pasture. He will stand to tack, lower his head to bridle and side pass to the mounting block. He makes no issue of bull whips, tarps, or balls and has experience on a variety of obstacles. He is used to both English and Western tack. Viking is also trained to pull our carriage and has been driven both single and double. He is patient for baths, shoeing and clipping. Viking is currently shod on all fours and wears a size 5 shoe.
