Dolly is a beautiful dapple gray pony with all the ride, looks, brains and skill! She is 6 years old, stands 44 inches tall and has a great conformation! Dolly is an absolute sweetheart. She is friendly, gentle and personable. We adore her sweet and kind nature and her awesome ride. We have owned Dolly for about 10 months now and in that time our little girl has done just about everything you can imagine with her! From riding English and jumping her, to western trail rides and cattle catching, to bareback with a halter around the pastures- Dolly has done it all!

Dolly has a super nice one-step lope and a big stop. She rides and acts like a big horse instead of a pony. Her lope is super smooth and shows how athletic and agile she is. She will lope circles both ways and has a handy little neck rein.

On the trail, Dolly is everything a little cowpoke could ever dream of. There is no hill to steep or water too deep for Miss Dolly. She navigates the trail exceptionally and takes care of her rider. She is confident enough to lead the way, but has no problem following along. She stays back far enough from the big horses but can also keep up with them as well. She has rode the roughest terrain around Kentucky and we’ve also taken her on camping trips to various places! From sharing snacks on the trail to wading in the creek, Dolly is so much fun!

Dolly has even been ridden on the beach! Most horses don’t know what to think when they see the waves for first time but Dolly was a champ and rode in and out of the ocean wonderfully! She will go anywhere our daughter asks her to!

Dolly is also a great cow pony. Our daughter has ridden her regularly through our cattle to check them and the fences and we’ve also even taken her to a large scale round up where she helped to move, sort and work several hundred head of cattle over a couple days time.

Dolly is the type of pony that our daughter has let friends ride when they come over. We’ve taken her to local fun horse shows as well where she always does an excellent job. She’s been ridden double and by other kids who don’t know a whole lot about riding.

Our girl has also ridden Dolly in English tack quite a bit and even jumped her many times. Dolly is such a great pony with a willing to learn attitude. She is up for whatever our daughter asks of her and doesn’t get a bad attitude about it like some ponies do.

Dolly is also great with the tarp, whip, and gun as you can see in the video. She has even been squirrel hunted off of and has been used to lead dogs off of as well. Dolly is easy to catch and gets along well with other horses and animals. Dolly loads and hauls great, stands to be trimmed and is easy to get along with all the way around. She is familiar with the goats, dogs and cats in the barn as well and pays them no mind.

Dolly also drives and does a great job. She is completely traffic safe and has been ridden through town and even in Christmas parades! Dolly is a well mannered one of a kind pony that we have absolutely loved having around. As our daughter outgrows her, we would love to see her make another little boy or girl the perfect pony to make lasting memories with!
