Her unflappable disposition, easy-going nature, and ability to stay broke and gentle all combine to make Nimbus the perfect partner for almost anybody. We see her perfect partner as someone who likes to switch things up - trail riding one day, a local ranch show the next, then hauling out to a liberty clinic after that. She's ideal for someone who loves all aspects of horse ownership but who might not be able to ride everyday, because no matter how much time she gets off, she stays gentle, broke, and ready to go.
Nimbus rides like how an easy, gentle, broke horse should. She has an easy neck rein, moves off seat and leg pressure well, easily picks up her leads, and has the comfiest little jog.
We have hauled her off-property many times whether that be for trail rides, fun shows, camping trips, or clinics.
Nimbus has great barn manners and is just nice to be around. She is not 'mareish' in the slightest and most people who don't know her assume she's a gelding just by the way she acts. She stands quietly to be groomed, tacked, and bathed. She has no stall vices, and is quiet and well mannered during feeding times.
She currently turns out during the day in a small mixed herd with three geldings and one other mare. She gets along well with everyone with zero dramatics.
