Jay J is the ultimate family horse and is a joy to work with and ride. Standing 14.2 and stout, he is the perfect size! Jay J has a big and willing heart so there's no job out of his league! He is a registered Galecino, which makes him very unique in that the pure-bred Galiceno is relatively new to the USA, only beginning to be imported in 1958. Galiceno horses are known as the "little big horse" and are prized for their intelligence, beauty, riding ease and endurance. That is Jay J to a T! We've ridden Jay J all over our ranch and hauled him with us to cutting horse shows to use as a turnback horse. Everywhere we go people love him because of his happy demeanor and good looks. Jay J won't be bothered by things like passing vehicles, tractors or other equipment. He's great to take on trail rides and is willing to cross water, down logs, and other rough terrain without hesitation. Jay J is very smooth to ride and easily guided. He loads and trailers well, stands good for farrier, grooming and bathing. Jay J is 100 percent sound. We have very much enjoyed having him around the ranch but we are proud to offer such a nice and unique gelding.
