Are you looking for that golden ticket? Winchester could be the one. He is a 7 year old palomino gelding and stands right at 15 hands tall. Winchester has been a personal horse for a friend of ours since he was a 2 year old and has always been well cared for. We watched him mature and grow into the horse that he is today. He has mostly been used as a trail horse but has also been ridden in the arena quite a bit, before he came to us.
Safe, safe, safe, would describe Winchester the best. Ride him every day or once a month he is always the same. Winchester has been ridden English and Western. He is a nice smooth, and steady mount on the trails, up and down steep hills with ease. Goes through water without hesitation. Picks his way through rocky areas nice and quiet. In the arena he has a nice consistent trot, and a smooth lope, and is smooth between each transition. He is a smart thinking horse and always a willing to please attitude. He has a nice extended trot and a lot of natural self carriage, making him a good aspect in ranch riding shows.
Winchester is also training to drive. He has pulled a carriage on the road and through towns. And is always happy to take someone on a peaceful Sunday afternoon ride in the carriage.
Winchester is up to date on all his vaccinations, hoof care, dental work, and deworming.
