"Jose" is not only beautiful to look at, he's also royally bred and incredibly good-minded. He is a golden, dappled palomino with four bright white socks, a big white face, and baby blue eyes. He has a long, thick mane & tail. He is sired by Gunners Special Nite, and is out of a mare who won $25k in the NRHA herself and has offspring earnings of over $35k. He's absolutely stunning and so sweet to be around! 

Jose is a laid back horse, who is easy to ride and have around. He's a finished reiner but was never pushed hard. He's the kind of horse that loves his job, whatever that may be. He has smooth gaits. His jog is nice and slow, but he will also move out and extend the trot to be a huge contender in the ranch horse classes! And he WILL always get attention - wherever he goes and whatever he does, everybody loves him. Jose has a lope that you can ride all day long, too!! He is more whoa-than-go. Jose has had a rope tossed off of him, hes been ridden outside, seen cattle, etc. Nothing seems to bother him, he acts wise beyond his years! Jose is soft in the bridle and listens incredibly well to your voice, seat and legs. As shown in his video, you dont even need a bridle to enjoy riding him. Jose has smooth transitions and is a BIG stopper! He has a lot of turn, and his spins are very stylish. 

Jose is safe enough for all types of riders, and although he has all the bells and whistles, you dont need a PhD to be able to ride and enjoy him! He will adapt to his rider and isnt silly or spooky. Jose has incredible ground manners, and stands quietly for the farrier, grooming, and for his "mane" days. He clips, loads into any kind of trailer, hauls well, ties, etc. Jose has never had any illness or soundness issues and was purchased from his original owner/breeder, he has never been sold prior to joining our program. We just love this sweet guy! 

Jose is an easy keeper and doesnt require any maintenance. He is UTD on everything, and has great strong hooves. He is barefoot up front most of the time, and only wears sliders or front shoes when we do a lot of trail-type riding.
