Thor is a beautiful bay gelding that has an impressive show record and a "been there, done that" type of demeanor that carries into all aspects of his life - from the reining pen to branding pen, and all the trail rides in between! 

Thor is stunning to look at - he is an easy one to pick out with his gorgeous solid bay color and big, soft eyes. Thor has excellent conformation and is structurally correct in every way. He is sound and sturdy, yet talented and refined. The best of both worlds! Thor is the perfect height, about 14.3 hands. His sire is Gotta Twist It Up and out of a wonderful, proven producing dam. It comes as no surprise that Thor is talented in all areas of his riding career, with a TON of versatility. 

Thor has already won an impressive NRHA LTE of $3,437.14! With that being said, he is the type of horse that will continue to top the reining show pen, while also being a pleasure to own and can do much more than just his reining maneuvers! Thor has easy to ride gaits and is responsive to his rider's cues. He spins like a top in both directions, has a lot of "pretty" to him at each of his gaits (especially loping those big, pretty circles!) and is a BIG stopper. Thor has been ridden outside as well as in the arena. He is easy going and enjoys a change of pace. Thor LOVES the ranch riding and ranch versatility type of activities! He never goes unnoticed by the judges, and will continue to excel in all the Ranch events as well as countless other areas of riding. He doesnt get spooky or silly, and has shown that he is a great companion as well as a riding partner. 

Thor has not been "traded around" - he came to us from the folks who raised him since he was a yearling. As you can see in his videos and on our social media pages, he's already accomplished a lot in his career, and is none the worse for wear. We feel that Thor has a desire to please his rider and looks forward to forming a bond with "his next person". He's quiet enough for a green reiner rookie to learn on, yet will also ride English, hit the trails, work a cow, and would be a blast to take to the top level in the ranch events. 

He is current on all farrier, vaccinations, dental work and deworming. Thor loads into any trailer you point him at, he will clip without even a halter on, and is safe to be around. He likes attention and stands well for bathing and grooming. He has been turned out as well as stalled, and will hold his own in a herd!
