Paige is very easy to be around and handle. She has exceptional ground manners, stands for the farrier and vet. She ties wherever you put her and stands patiently while waiting. She loves to be bathed and pampered. If you’re thinking about getting a mare but are worried because you have heard all the horror stories of the “moody mare”, that is not a problem with Paige. She is the same every day of the month.
In the saddle, Paige is a pleasure to ride. She’s smooth, powerful and steady, yet quick when asked, that is how I would describe her. She is light in the bridle, moves off your leg and transitions through gates easily. She has been out on the trail covering a wide variety of terrain, is used to traffic and machinery. We started working cattle on her and she is progressing nicely through our program. She is also used to a rope, dragging logs, tracking the dummy, and a breakaway roping calf.
