Matt Mardis, the owner and founder of MM Horses, was born and raised in the ranching world. He began roping at 11 years old. As his skill and horsemanship progressed, he found work at some of the largest ranches in the Texas panhandle. Matt gained a real world education working on those ranches and feed lots. Along the way, he realized the incredible value in horses who may not become world champion performance horses, yet are athletic, patient, and hard working. Over the years Matt's business shifted from cattle to horses. MM Horses was born from Matt's skill of training and developing horses and his passion for placing them into the perfect partnerships. Matt considers it a privilege and joy to be a part of their clients' horse journeys.
