He is a 5 year old AQHA gelding standing 15 hands with a flashy look with all the chrome, light colored mane and tail and a stunning conformation.  He is an own son of Platinum Vintage and will definitely stand out wherever he goes with his good looks and talent!

This athletic guy excels in the reining arena, effortlessly loping nice circles, executing clean lead changes, and demonstrating quick spins and a big stop that will impress any observer. He’d be ideal for someone who is wanting to start their competition career in the reining pen as he is patient and a good teacher but also loaded with talent.  His ability doesn’t stop in the show pen; he’s also a seasoned ranch horse who knows a day of hard work. He pasture ropes, helps doctor calves, ranch sorts and tracks a smarty.  He displays quickness and eagerness while working cows along a fence and could easily be finished out as a reined cow horse.

When it comes to trail rides, Platinum is calm, confident, and ready for anything. He navigates effortlessly under, over, or through obstacles, he’s traffic-safe and is a sure-footed ride. He’s so gentle that the young kids of Diamond H Versatility Horses can ride him in the arena and spend time with him in the barn.  Five year old, Roper, says that he loves leading him back to his stall after a good grooming in the barn!

Even with all the talent and athleticism Platinum embodies, he is also relaxed enough to be an amazing trail horse. His skills in the arena make him capable of competition, yet he has a calm demeanor that everyone in the family can enjoy. He is the kind of horse who knows when to get down to business and is willing to do so when asked, but also knows when it’s time to turn it off and be gentle and quiet. 

Platinum has also been desensitized to all kinds of things like tarps, balls, and even dragging loud milk jugs—making him a solid horse to be around and a confidence builder for those looking to improve their skills. He is a gentleman in the barn or on his back, respecting your space and being tuned in to abide by the requests you make of him. He is a considerate, well-mannered, companion who is easy to get along with no matter the task at hand and would fit seamlessly into any home!
